[A drawn out yawn before...] What did I even miss... [Rin is up now, for the first time in... a while. He'd been sleeping a lot before then with intermittent periods of being awake for short hours. And now, for once, he doesn't want to sleep more. Not the lead because he's really hungry, having not really eaten for the past three days... or seen Shiemi or Skarmy in the house. Or anything. Really, the thing which immediately stood out when he finally got up and wasn't sleeping was that someone (probably Eleanor) had put a huge stack of homework by his bad.
That said, he's eating cereal now, and isn't feeling the need to nod off again despite being up almost an hour (he even showered) which is why he's using his journal]
Sorry, uh, work 'n school people and Wolverine. My bad - I guess I got really sick or something. Shiemi was takin' care of me most of the time too so sorry to any of her friends. [A pause as he chews his cereal and...] Who wants to do... anything? I've actually been sleeping way too much and I wanna stretch my legs.
[ And anyone can tell him what he missed, win-win.
Which of course means there's sidebar action as he goes to Seventh Heaven, next door, the Dome, the Item Shop and other assorted places to see what's what.]

But satisfied, Saten lets the darkness on the ground fade away, leaning a little more against the tree. She's in entirely too much pain right now and can't make it go away fast enough. ]
It seems you still need better control.
[ It's half said, half muttered. Regardless of Rin's control, the fact was he hit her a lot harder and a lot faster than she was expecting, and she hates being caught unawares like that. ]
[action]
[ And he makes to go and try to get both of his sword and scabbard, so he can then go back to his normal form and die down ]
[action]
Apologies are worthless. Do it better or don't bother at all.

When she notices that look of his, she scowls and tries to straighten up a little. ]
What?
[action]
[ And he's embarrassed about it, honestly. Hs cheeks even tinge a little. He then, for want of a better thing to do, bows for her ]
[action]
She should be focusing her energy solely on healing but she doesn't care right now. The darkness leaks out of her palm and into the tree, and a few seconds later she tenses her hand against the bark. Her powers squeeze and the trunk snaps, sending the top half of the tree crashing to the ground behind her. ]
I don't need your apologies! Don't mock me, mortal!
[ Not that a tree with that thin a trunk is exactly a grandiose demonstration of her remaining power, but she wants to get her point across. Hopefully with as little excess movement as possible, so she went with what was convenient. ]
[action]
No, he's just passing out into a sleep ]

She's startled into a stunned silence when Rin collapses in front of her. For a few moments, she wonders if he's possibly trying to pull something, but as the seconds tick by it becomes apparent that he isn't.
It doesn't do much to alleviate her desire to take revenge for her wounded pride, but there's still some satisfaction that she's the one left standing and he isn't, despite all that. If only it were as simple as cutting his throat.
Walking isn't a fun prospect right now, but she needs to get out of the sun and find a darker spot to rest for the moment. She needs any help she can get, and after one more glance towards Rin to make sure he's still lying there quietly, the dark shapes of her true wings appear at her shoulders and cascade down to the ground to start dipping into the shadows by her feet. There, that feels better already. Now if only she could do more about her skin.
Leaving Rin to deal by himself, she starts off on an awkward walk-shuffle into the trees to find a deeper part of the forest. ]
