[A drawn out yawn before...] What did I even miss... [Rin is up now, for the first time in... a while. He'd been sleeping a lot before then with intermittent periods of being awake for short hours. And now, for once, he doesn't want to sleep more. Not the lead because he's really hungry, having not really eaten for the past three days... or seen Shiemi or Skarmy in the house. Or anything. Really, the thing which immediately stood out when he finally got up and wasn't sleeping was that someone (probably Eleanor) had put a huge stack of homework by his bad.

That said, he's eating cereal now, and isn't feeling the need to nod off again despite being up almost an hour (he even showered) which is why he's using his journal]

Sorry, uh, work 'n school people and Wolverine. My bad - I guess I got really sick or something. Shiemi was takin' care of me most of the time too so sorry to any of her friends. [A pause as he chews his cereal and...] Who wants to do... anything? I've actually been sleeping way too much and I wanna stretch my legs.

[ And anyone can tell him what he missed, win-win.

Which of course means there's sidebar action as he goes to Seventh Heaven, next door, the Dome, the Item Shop and other assorted places to see what's what.]

Well, I figure I might as well gut the ones which look good, then we can pack them up and haul them back to cook 'em later. Some fresh fish would look good for dinner, after all.

I thought that too, but I meant if you are going to gut the ones that look good the moment they are fished or wait to see if we get something even better.

Oh, good point. We probably need a bucket and a cooler too.

We should decide what type of bait use as well. Though we should find everything at the store anyway.

Don't you just use worms for it?

You could also use insects, like flies. Not sure what's the difference, though.

Those'd seem like they're a little small to me. We're probably better off with worms.

I don't think that matters to the fish but worms is it then.

Course it matters! Anyone's gonna wanna eat something which looks more filling. But okay, let's get goin!

[To the store then. Ikki doesn't know much about fishing with a rod so he looks for the less complex type.]

The rods I'm used to are far more simple than those.

Me too. I don't actually know how to use the big fancy ones. [ So where's a simple one ... ]

Maybe we should just build a simple one ourselves.

[Unless they can find a couple of simple one's that is... Ikki manages to find one as he says that, though.]

Awesome. [ And he does take it, throwing it over his shoulder - and he finds a box of hooks here too - no wait, this is a whole tacklebox. Score. He holds it up for Ikki, grinning as he shakes it a little ]

[He finds a rod for himself not long after and smiles at the tacklebox.]

I think you got the jackpot. It's fully equipped, right?

[ He opens it to examine and... ] Except for worms.

[It was still good enough. Ikki moves to search for bait.]

There should be some bait around. If now we may have to go get it ourselves and in this weather that may not be easy.

Man I don't want to dig around for worms even if it was good weather. Let's just find something here, even fi we gotta use like bread or cheese.

How about people who can't tolerate lactose?

Or people who can't eat it for whatever reason. I know someone who can't, or at least thought they weren't allowed to eat it. Not sure if she finally gave it a try.
