[A drawn out yawn before...] What did I even miss... [Rin is up now, for the first time in... a while. He'd been sleeping a lot before then with intermittent periods of being awake for short hours. And now, for once, he doesn't want to sleep more. Not the lead because he's really hungry, having not really eaten for the past three days... or seen Shiemi or Skarmy in the house. Or anything. Really, the thing which immediately stood out when he finally got up and wasn't sleeping was that someone (probably Eleanor) had put a huge stack of homework by his bad.

That said, he's eating cereal now, and isn't feeling the need to nod off again despite being up almost an hour (he even showered) which is why he's using his journal]

Sorry, uh, work 'n school people and Wolverine. My bad - I guess I got really sick or something. Shiemi was takin' care of me most of the time too so sorry to any of her friends. [A pause as he chews his cereal and...] Who wants to do... anything? I've actually been sleeping way too much and I wanna stretch my legs.

[ And anyone can tell him what he missed, win-win.

Which of course means there's sidebar action as he goes to Seventh Heaven, next door, the Dome, the Item Shop and other assorted places to see what's what.]

If it were a kidnapping I'd think my apartment woulda looked more messed. I think he just kind of wandered off.

Dunno. Maybe do something like a live action video game. Or race car driving?

Yeah, he's back...he's just not saying much right now. I'm not sure what's up, but, it's kind of worrying.

[Cross lets out a frustrated sigh. If he knew he'd have said so. All of this not knowing was getting sickening and Shu usually was an open book, since he made himself one.]

I think Shu just doesn't know how to tell me yet. I dunno, he usually just spouts anything that comes to mind.

Oh, so he's one of those guys, huh? That's even weirder if he's quiet.

Yeaaaaah, yeah...he is. Reaaaaaaaally loud mouth on him, that's for sure.

And it's more nerve racking than weird. I just hope nothing bad happened.

I'll probably bug him later if he still doesn't talk, but you know me: I don't think I win many points when it comes to problems and people.

[It's old guilt with the other matters that happened, but his concern is obvious in his tone. How'd he even talk to Shu and make sure the other boy didn't get upset with him? It was weighing heavily on him to the point of mental exhaustion.]

Well yeah, I guess you're kinda dumb sometimes. But you're friends, right? So why not just ask.

[There is a sigh of reluctance. Rin did make a fair argument, one that he can't exactly ignore.]

You got a point though. I just need the right moment to ask, that's all.

When I know he's not going to try and argue with me and he'll let me talk and not shut me out.
