[So after running into Izumo and getting properly dressed, Rin sets out to complete his sweep for Kurikara in the item shop before heading back "home" to House 15. Possibly with Izumo he goes back there but maybe not. Either way, he ends up going there in the relatively early morning. Run into him en route, while he's looking for Kurikara, or when he's there.]

...Ossu. It's me, Rin Okumura. I got sent back. [And I've been informed my brother went home.

I'm apart from Yukio. I know I upset a lot of you. He bites his lip and then shakes his head. No, he's not saying any of that]

Pity it's too cold, h-huh? I wanted to go swimming in this pool, now it's kinda too cold for it...

[Whoah! He ends up stumbling away from the pool when a wave of steam suddenly comes up and hits him in the face.]

[Though it does look pretty cool, seeing underwater fire and all. Looks it, definitely doesn't feel like it. Stupid steam.]

I'm trying, I'm tryyyyyying! [and he grunts before going to put his sword away! ...But the pool is half boiled out. Yes]

[It would almost be impressive if boiling away half the water was what Rin was aiming to do. But he wasn't. And now they can't swim. GOOD JOB MAN.]

... I didn't think you would make it boil that fast.

I told you this would happen! Now we're gunna burn ourselves if we get in there!

[Wow okay he is not a loser. He had faith in Rin being able to pull this off and he screwed up! He nudges Rin back with his fist.]

You could have used way less of your flames instead of covering the entire pool floor with them, even if it looked pretty cool.

But then it wouldn't've heated it all evenly! It'd be weird to have one part be much hotter, it'd be like someone peed!

It wouldn't be like that at all. The hot water would spread out and mix with the cold, right? You wouldn't even notice the difference!

I dunno, it's clearly pretty hot!

It'll cool down soon enough, right... But maybe we should hang out here...

What, by the pool of boiling hot water? At least its keeping us warm.

Well we gotta make sure no one gets in.

[Ding, idea.] Why not boil the rest of the water away? It'll be empty, but at least no one will get in that way.

What if we melt the lining?! It's not all that thick, you know!

I didn't know that pools even had linings. You didn't care much about melting things when you tried just now.

I didn't think it was going to boil all the way through, okay!

I didn't think that either. [Sigh.] I can still see steam coming off of it. Maybe it can work like the hot springs, only smaller.
