[So after running into Izumo and getting properly dressed, Rin sets out to complete his sweep for Kurikara in the item shop before heading back "home" to House 15. Possibly with Izumo he goes back there but maybe not. Either way, he ends up going there in the relatively early morning. Run into him en route, while he's looking for Kurikara, or when he's there.]

[Voice]

...Ossu. It's me, Rin Okumura. I got sent back. [And I've been informed my brother went home.

I'm apart from Yukio. I know I upset a lot of you. He bites his lip and then shakes his head. No, he's not saying any of that]

Pity it's too cold, h-huh? I wanted to go swimming in this pool, now it's kinda too cold for it...

[...close. Ish.] V-Vivi. [If she looks a little disappointed he didn't remember her name, it's only a flash on her face before she schools her expression back to a polite smile.]

Kyoto? Is that where you're from?

Vivi, right! Knew it was something like that... [Cough] 'M from True Cross Academy's campus town though. Kyoto's were my class was on a mission pretty recently though.

Ah, I see. [Well, not really.] So it was a school trip?

Not really. [And a bit more gravely:] Some crazy guy was trying to wake up some ancient dead demon called the Impure King. He had to go and stop it.

[She'll raise a brow slightly at that.] What kind of school is it you attend, Rin-kun?

True Cross Academy, which is some big fancy place where people who're rich or got scholarships, like me and my brother, go. But I was goin' as part of my class at the Exorcist Cram School.

Exorcist..? [Vivi repeats it in a murmur, then nods slowly. Okay, she thinks she's beginning to understand now.]

You're in training to fight evil demons then? I don't think we have anything like that back home, but-- [demons aren't really a problem, either. She cuts herself off before finishing what she'd been about to say, and hastily amends it:] I never attended school, myself. I just had tutors.

[...That was a strange thing. Rin barely notices though, shrugging] Really? I think you said you had guards and stuff, so you're rich, right? Rich people do stuff like that, so makes sense...

[A beat] But yep, we've been learning to protect people from demons.

Rich? Ah, something like that. My father is the king of Alabasta.

[Her royal status isn't anything she tries to hide here, but she's found it can be a little awkward to just come out and say it, depending on how the person reacts. Still, she doesn't want there to be any misunderstandings.]

-So you're a princess! Whoa? [He's. Surprised. Not sure how he should be reacting to that]

Yes, that's right. [She flaps a hand dismissively.] But don't worry about it. It's not all that important here.

A...Haha, yeah, if you say so! I mean, this isn't your kingdom.

That's it exactly! I suppose my upbringing was a little different, but it sounds like you're leading quite an interesting life yourself, Rin-kun.

Hyaaahahaha. Yeah, I've been going pretty well for a while now.

Is being an exorcist a very common job where you come from? [It seems like it, if people go to school for it, after all...]

Not really. I mean! There's a lotta exorcists, but compared to how man people there are, not really. It's also kinda secret, I think.

I see. And it sounds like it must be very important, as well.

And not only that, but you've got quite the talent for making sweets, too.

Yeah! Super important. Exorcists are who keep the world humans live in safe from demons, after all. They're -- err -- we're out there to save people, you know?

[Self pleased. Just a little.

So you're a hero, really. Very admirable.

[He....ro....]

I... I guess so... yeah.

[She laughs mildly.]
